Quỳnh Studio

When your best friend is an interior designer with actual talent, and you’re an art director with questionable boundaries, it’s only a matter of time before someone ends up forcing someone else to work for free.

Quynh Le is a force of nature. She’s the type to tie up her ponytail, grab a power drill, and dive straight into the work. No fuss. No fear of getting dirty. Her style is grounded in nature but leans functional and contemporary, softened with subtle, feminine touches. Think natural light, recycled wood, bamboo, and just the right amount of charm. And that's the catch—her branding needed to reflect the contemporary and softness of her style (not the chaos of our group chats or the mess of her dating life).

This was where I stepped in.

She named her studio Quynh Studio, a personal and straightforward choice. So I used her initial as the foundation and built everything else around it. The logo is a stylized blend of her "Q" with two signature elements: a single leaf and the ponytail she always wears on-site, a nod to her "I'm here to get sheep done" energy.

The visual language we landed on is soft, contemporary, and down to earth. We chose earthy greens and browns to reflect her connection to nature and paired them with Nexa, a clean, modern, and versatile typeface that works across everything from signage to invoices. I also created a custom leaf pattern to add texture and depth to stationery, wrapping, and packaging—just enough rhythm to keep things feeling fresh without overwhelming the simplicity of the system.

The branding is natural, feminine, and contemporary.

And honestly, it turned out a lot more polished than you'd expect from a project powered by friendship, sarcasm, street food, and mutual guilt trips.
