Car salespeople don’t always get high marks for listening—it’s often more about sealing the deal than hearing the customer. Ken Garff decided to change that perception by putting genuine listening at the forefront of their philosophy. To spotlight this approach, they rolled out quarterly billboard campaigns highlighting their “listening-first” philosophy.
I had the chance to work on two standout campaigns: GARFF-ISM and LANDSCAPE. GARFF-ISM paired clever headlines with creative designs tailored to Utah’s vibe, like cross-stitch patterns and ancient petroglyph-inspired art. Meanwhile, LANDSCAPE celebrated Utah’s natural beauty with stunning visuals that tied every adventure back to Ken Garff’s customer-first promise.
These billboards didn’t just blend into the background but stood out with humor, relatability, and a playful nod to Ken Garff’s fun side. Together, these campaigns reinforced the message that at Ken Garff, "We Hear You."
